Title: Ideas for future Updates/Versions
Post by: Reg on 05 October, 2018, 22:01:25 pm
Chat
I was in a voice chat discussion on Discord when another player made the suggestion (sorry I can't remember who), that there be some visual differences between Faction Chat and Global Chat. E.G. different colour, different font or even a different position on the screen; perhaps lower right.

Time
The time in game during daylight is equal to real time second for second.  However at night it is 2 seconds for every 1 second in real time.  At lower levels of XP (<20), players are focused on collecting resources for building or getting off the starter planets.  I suggest that the night time in-game time be equal to real-time.  Either just on starter planets or, preferably, on all PvE planets.

They are on different "panels" - this is the default.  It would be interesting to see if this could be modded a colour.

The Day/night cycle is dictated by the spin of the 3d planet - and portions of the same planet are in Day and night at the same time.  This is not a single "global" setting and is to simulate a globe.  The only way to change this would be to somehow have more of the planet in "day" at any one time, and I am unsure if this is possible to do.
