Venatus Australia - News Feed
« on: 12 June, 2017, 10:48:13 am »

An unnamed source has stated that while having a friendly drink at the Perseus System Trading Station, he was speaking to a member of the 0IN faction. This 0IN member was somewhat under the influence of some space rum and had mentioned that on a mining mission into deep space, their CV named ‘Celestial’ veered off course and made an unplanned emergency jump.

He said while there was no actual emergency it would appear the 0IN faction had stayed up all night and had drunk way too much, of a strange new mix they had come up with……something to do with combining Pentaxid and plants from Auriga and Scorpius!

The pilot of the vessel, Murder Boner initiated the jump, oblivious to his actions at the time. Several other members, Geoff Peters, Faultz32000, and Elpmasjj were also heavily intoxicated at this time. It took the combined efforts of Datristan and Syrass to get the vessel back under control and safely warp back to Perseus System for assessment.

The unnamed source also mentioned that where they had jumped to, they had discovered a wealth of new resource asteroids. Datristan, being the organised one of the group, had written down the co-ordinates of this new area of space for mapping purposes to the Venatus Galaxy Administration.

It appears no-one was harmed in the incident.

!!!! Pirate Alert !!!!

A series of reports came in last night, and to the best of our ability, we have organised them into chronological order:

1. Sir Mick was caught by a small fleet of vessels while vulnerable on a planet surface in his CV. He was lucky to escape with only minor damage after what appeared to be major issues in the pirate fleets' operating systems.

2. Harro was chased off planet in his Millennium Falcon by a pirate fleet only to have his warp core disabled in orbit mid way through his jump leaving him stranded in the next system.

3. Pirates were able to track Harro into the neighboring system where significant damage was done to his ship, leaving him limping towards the ADM trade center.

4. Sir Mick again came under attack after a scout found him on Perseus Moon through use of previously installed tracking bugs. The pirate fleet followed shortly thereafter and he was only just able to escape into orbit but not without loss of a HV and some auto miner cores!
